I have a combi boiler which I had fitted 3 years ago. It is in a bedroom. I have it serviced every year and British Gas are happy with the safety aspect of it. It is housed in a cupboard but I have vents in the cupboard doors.

Yes you can provided it is room sealed as explained earlier, doesn't have to be an outside wall, use a vertical flue, less chance of the plume causing a problem with windows on the same level, the airing cupboard is usually the best place to install a combi boiler, most boilers are quiet now and would not disturb sleep.

In the UK you can have a boiler in a bedroom providing it's room sealed (fan flued or a balanced flue) generally the flue goes out through an external wall.

you are allowed to have a boiler in your bedroom providing its of the room sealed type ..this means that it does not need any air supply from that room to operate ....the outside flu has two pipes in one ..one draws air into the boiler and the other is for waste gases ...most combi boilers are like this

We have ours fitted in a bedroom cupboard purely because it was the only outside wall available for the flu
