Have bought a 3 bed house which needs a new combi boiler. How much should I expect to pay for boiler and installation?

I paid £800 two years ago to replace my combi this for the boiler only. You can buy them from £400 but you would still need to pay corgi registered engineer to fit it.

About £1200 to £1700 pounds; depends where you live really.

The other answers are outragous !! I suggest they change plumbers

For a normal combi you can get one from £345 and a condensing combi from £425. ( he says looking at an advert in a paper right now )

Add £50 to get a decent name one such as a BAXI 80 ECO or £100 to get a SABRE 25 HE ( condensing )

installation would be a couple of hundred.

Please, oh, please, do not be tempted to buy a ‘cheap’ combi boiler. You will be disappointed. But, yes, you will need a CORGI engineer to install it. He would also recommend a boiler that he knows is good.

      Get a good boiler..Vaillant or Worcester Bosch…cost with corgi installer = £1200 – £1800.

    • Lexie Eckersley says:

no less than 1100 for a decent job…

MUST be Corgi Registered installer..that is law

This makes it expensive, but worthwhile in the long run. once you have a combi boiler you wont go back! but dont skimp on the model…Worchster Bosh etc..not a B&Q special…
