		<description>it may or may not as said in prior answer.  the bad news is the circulator pump on the boiler will require electricity to pump the hot water throughout your system, so you will need electricity anyway.</description>

		<description>many gas heaters need a spark to light. some with pilot light do not, if you have no hot water it is a good bet that yours needs electricity to light.

check your breaker box if you are an adult, for a switch that is in a different direction than the rest. if you find one, unplug some appliances in your kitchen and switch breaker back on.</description>
